Paint Pour with Lisa Avila — Watch Paint Come Alive

Part art class, part chemistry experiment.

Lisa Avila’s paint-pour technique sets colors of different densities against each other and then lets them do what they want. They bloom into cells, veins and ribbons that keep moving across the canvas while you watch. No two pours come out the same, and nobody — Lisa included — knows exactly what a canvas will do until it does it.

Just in time for Halloween, the palette leans eerie and the results look it.

No experience needed. Lisa walks you through the whole thing, from mixing to the final tilt.

Your ticket includes entry, all materials, and a canvas to take home with whatever you made on it.
