Who We Are

Emergency Services Outreach, Inc. is a New Mexico 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Bernalillo.

Vision: A New Mexico where those who answer the call — and those still finding theirs — have a place to heal, learn, and create.

Mission: Emergency Services Outreach educates, heals, and strengthens the communities it serves. We bring lifesaving and public-safety education to responders and the public; peer support and nature-based healing to first responders, healthcare workers, public servants, youth, and others carrying trauma; the living arts and cultures of New Mexico to a welcoming public; and practical help to neighbors in their hardest moments.

Our Home

You'll find us at 848 S Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo — a training facility, community space, and art gallery under one roof. (Fully opening August 2026.)

What We Do

Four programs, one purpose — to educate, heal, and strengthen. ESO operates from our Bernalillo community storefront and gallery, and from the Ranchito de la Redención retreat in Torrance County.

1. Education Outreach

ASHI, AHA, PEPP, and public-education courses equip first responders and community members with lifesaving knowledge and skills — BLS, Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid, ACLS, and PALS today, with ASHI and PEPP programming coming as those courses launch. Classes are held at our Bernalillo location, in the community, and among partners.

2. Wellness & Resilience Outreach

Ranchito de la Redención, our nature-based retreat in Torrance County, serves those who carry the weight of service and trauma — first responders, healthcare workers, public servants, youth, and other trauma-affected communities — through peer support, equine and animal connection, and land-based healing. Supporting the people who serve is the heart of everything ESO does.

3. Arts & Culture Outreach

Ranchito Galería promotes and preserves the living arts, crafts, and cultural traditions of New Mexico and of the Native American, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Latin American peoples whose traditions shape it. Through curated exhibition, artist talks, demonstrations, youth programming, and the exhibition and sale of original handmade works, the gallery advances arts education, cultural preservation, and support of artisan communities. Every purchase also helps fund Ranchito de la Redención. Buy art, save a life.

We honor the Indian Arts and Crafts Act: work by enrolled members of federally recognized tribes is clearly labeled and distinguished from other Indigenous artisans' work, so you always know exactly whose hands made what you're holding.

4. Community & Youth Outreach

Direct charitable support reaches vulnerable neighbors in crisis — including families displaced by fire — through a documented, non-discriminatory assistance process. Youth education, including our ET:Rising program, connects young people with first responders, nature, and aerospace and other career pathways, alongside STEM learning at the Ranchito de la Redención retreat.

Our Educators

Learning is easier with a great teacher. Our instructors hold advanced credentials in their fields — and more importantly, they've done the work: on ambulances, in emergency departments, and on real calls. They teach what they've lived, and they bring that experience into every class.
